I actually fell into the "Gray" series without knowing the subject or the controversy. I had a new Kindle, my daughter in law set it up and asked what book did I want and so the journey began.

I am in my late 60's and while not a prude or naive, I was a little shocked and at times turned off by the sexual content,both in amount and explicitness and decided to read only the one book as I had paid for it. The story was so much more important that the sex, that when I got to the end of #1, I had to find out what was going to happen to this couple as there were lots of changes going on with the two principal characters, several minor characters, a twisting and provocativethen the plot and sub plot. I had to read II and then dive into III.Once again, I had been left hanging and speculating and had to go on to book III.

I am so glad I purchased I unknowingly as all three books were wonderful reads. Many of my friends teased me about my dirty books but after a little explanation of the story, they too read the "dirty books" and no one quit without reading all three.

We are products of our experiences and environment and these books explore this as well as how each of us can overcome adversity by developing a shell, behviors, psyche to protect ourselves and we can also recreate ourselves given the appropriate motivation.

I hope there will be a !V.

Extreme Love Abby Niles

Move over cowboys and tycoons the MMA fighters are here and hey pack a punch!!
What an awesome love story and the heroine Caitlyn was a true hero. I could really relate to her background. I love it when the heroine is not one if those typical heroines. I don't want to give too much away but you just HAVE TO read this book.

Please let there be a sequel about her friend Amy and Brad.

Gotta love the hero Dante in this book. Phew, hot tamale!! Totally awesome and totally hot. I just love the acknowledgements at the end too on how this book took 6 years in the making. Wow that just blew me away. I hope the next one only takes 6 months at the least.

I received this book free from Netgalley for an honest review. Once I downloaded it and read the first chapter at around 9.00 pm i was hooked and read until the early hours of the morning until I finished the whole book. I COULD NOT put this book down!

Evolv Mens Royale Climbing Shoe

Ok, first to give some context to the review: These are my first pair of climbing shoes. I have only used them on indoor walls. If you are looking at shoes for this price point, I would assume you are not looking for expert cutting edge climbing shoes.

I gave these shoes a high rating because they fit well to my foot, and I have had no issues with them after hours of climbing at my gym. They are true to size. I wear an 8.5 US shoe size in Brooks running shoes, Asolo hiking shoes, and a couple other brands. So, I ordered a 8.5 in these. My big toe just touches the front. After 2 hours of climbing, my big toe feels slightly pinched. To me, that seems about perfect for climbing shoes.

As far as the style, you may notice that this style of climbing shoes is pretty universal. These look a lot like the Mad Rock shoes that I was wearing as rental shoes. I also looked at some 5.10 coyote shoes that look like these in red.

I'll update this review if anything pops up. But for now, I would say these are a great choice for a first set of climbing shoes.

Bolted by Meg Benjamin is the second book in The Promise Harbor Wedding Series. It is written from the perspective of Greta the grooms wayward impulsive sister and also the Matron of Honor.

Bolted starts off in the same manner as Book #1 Jilted. Josh and Allie's wedding is interrupted by Allie's ex-boyfriend. However you are seeing everything through Greta's eyes. Greta has come back to Promise Harbor with her own secrets. She has recently gotten divorced after finding out her ex-husband was cheating on her. Rather then tell her Mother and brother she holds onto her secrets so they won't continue to see her as a walking disaster.

This story follows Greta after the disaster that wasn't a wedding to her own escape. She decides to run away to a Decision Free Zone and meets archaeologist Hank Mitchell.

I adored this story. It showed that sometimes impulsive decisions can change your life for the better and that you have to learn to trust yourself and at times rely on others to lessen your own burdens.

An excellent second book in the Promise Harbor Series!
